Three decisions that shape a build
You do not need every system at once. Start with the choices that affect your damage or survival today, then add depth as your character reaches harder content.
Build foundation
Equipment comes first
A clean weapon and a complete armor set will carry you farther than a collection of disconnected high-level pieces.
- Start with the Gaia weapon from the LP Shop when it becomes available.
- Replace leveling gear one slot at a time instead of waiting for a perfect drop.
- Upgrade the pieces you use every day before investing in side builds.
Element and Eidolon
Make your damage point in one direction
Your element, Eidolon choice, and class build should support the same job. A focused setup is easier to upgrade and easier to test.
- Check the recommended element on your class guide before buying expensive upgrades.
- Choose an Eidolon that reinforces your main damage type or your party role.
- Keep a utility option for content where survival matters more than burst damage.
Weapon mastery
Spend mastery points with a plan
Weapon mastery changes how a class feels. Treat the first path as part of your build, not as a list of bonuses to click at random.
- Read the level 60 milestone before committing to a path.
- Pick bonuses that match your usual content: boss damage, area clearing, or durability.
- Compare the result with your class changelog after major balance updates.

Before an upgrade
- Confirm the item belongs to your final build.
- Check the material and gold cost.
- Keep one backup piece if the item is used for daily farming.
Before a dungeon run
- Repair and refill consumables.
- Check your element and party role.
- Read the dungeon entry and reward notes first.
When progress slows
- Move to the next custom dungeon in the progression guide.
- Improve one weak gear slot instead of spreading resources everywhere.
- Ask another player to review the build before replacing everything.
